One thing is clear, people don't understand the implications of what an equities crash would mean. They all seem to think it just means they get to scoop up cheap real estate. That's not true.

If you take $70,000 from the paycheck of a hard worker and give $10,000 to 7 lazy people, you lose one vote but gain 7. That’s how the west works now.

@FinancialPhys A crash is not a solution. When things crash liquidity dries up and lending standards get tighter. No one who needs to buy assets to catch up can. You need wage growth and an increase on the production side.

A proposed large-scale battery storage project near Snoqualmie Ridge is moving forward, drawing renewed concern from nearby residents. People who live in the area said they have had little say in a development they worry could pose safety risks. On Sunday, hundreds of people rallied in downtown Snoqualmie and then marched to the site near Fisher Creek Park where the facility could be built. “This is one of the most united fronts I have ever seen out of this entire community,” said Danielle Wallace, a member of Snoqualmie Valley for Responsible Energy. Just an observation: Everyone outside of the 1% are either unemployed or poor. How long can we maintain this trajectory before people rise up?

The fact that everyone is not just naturally a libertarian is something I have a really hard time understanding. Like what gives so many people the compulsion to want to control other people's lives? Can't wrap my head around where the desire to do that even comes from..

@CryptoWendyO The fuck are you talking about, you get streets, schools, fire departments, cops, basic utilities and the power of a municipality. Come to SW MT where my friends are trying to raise 40K to rebuild the road but they got low taxes.

Right now the market continues it's rally higher because earnings "is good". That means that no matter what there is a forced repricing of the indexes higher. If $INTC has a better ballance sheet it makes its stock more valuable. Why would you fight that.

I guess it's a question of what do you want? A 20% correction from S&P 8000 or from 7000, I guess it's all kind of the same but seriously buy oil.

So there is virtually no risk to the market and oil what so ever? I get it, Texas is going to a great state to work in for a while with plenty of oil jobs. Tech doesn't seem to be slowing down either. Banks are making a killing trading.
