On Sunday, hundreds of people rallied in downtown Snoqualmie and then marched to the site near Fisher Creek Park where the facility could be built.

This is true but its only necessary because billionaires continue to exploit labor. If they paid fair wages people would be able to afford what they need and you wouldn't need a tax.

Right now the market continues it's rally higher because earnings "is good". That means that no matter what there is a forced repricing of the indexes higher. If $INTC has a better ballance sheet it makes its stock more valuable. Why would you fight that.
