🗣️We are still recruiting!🗣️ A few spots available - set to begin this summer. Children will come to UNL's East Campus 2 - 3 times per week for sessions with our lab director, Dr. @CiaraOusley. We are looking at communication technologies during play activities!

Proud of Nebraska for meeting standards for Part B (school aged) and Part C (early childhood) of IDEA (US law that requires states to provide free and appropriate services to those with disabilities). Sadly, there are several states that are not.

In a recent randomized control trial, Kasari and colleagues compared equal dosages of DTT and JASPER (an NDBI) with young autistic children with minimal to no vocal speech. While some gains differed, both approaches were effective. Check it out, here: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37070270/
