Some #WhiteSox thoughts through 2 weeks: -The Acuña trade is already looking terrible. As predicted, we are going to miss Luis Robert Jr. a lot. -Teams know Murakami is our best hitter by far and pitchers are going to dial in on him. Don't panic: He'll still run into 30+ HR. -Quero & Colson will be fine. Teams had all winter to build scouting reports. They'll both adjust. -Andrew Benintendi doesn't deserve to be on this team anymore. DFA him immediately, @whitesox. -Running with Reese McGuire over Korey Lee will bite us in the ass before long. -Shane Smith isn't a 1, he's a 4 or 5. But when the rotation gets fortified, he'll be very effective. -Davis Martin might finally be becoming a dude. -Kay, Fedde, and Burke are here to eat innings and hopefully stoke trade value. -When the next wave of bats force Chase Meidroth down the order, he is going to have a counting stat renaissance. -Benintendi, Hill, Harris, Acuña, and Peters might be the worst outfield this organization has ever had. Hopefully by August, it will look a lot different. (i.e. LF Antonacci, CF Braden, RF Hays.) -Jordan Hicks is terrifying. I know why Red Sox fans hated him now. -Venable HAS to do a better job making personell calls. So far, his lineups have been questionable and he's done a really poor job with bullpen management. -This bullpen is bad. Really bad. I'd still take the over on wins, but the margin is narrow.

Alright you guys want to know who the seller is… it’s @WolfesBreaks He lives about a hour north of me and just last year I met up with him bought a big WVU / Jevon Carter collection for $2,900 cash. Then even more recently I bought two more “grail” Jevon Carter cards for ~$400 I believe. I paid via CashApp and he sent them and everything went well. He then approached me with these cards and asked if I wanted to buy them. Of course I wanted to buy my first Tom Brady Auto, I mean it’s so sick especially with the inscription. Anyways, he has never had PayPal even though I only basically pay PayPal g&s for every single deal but didn’t blink an eye having to split up Venmo / Cashapp payments due to legit doing an in person deal with him & multiple other successful deals. We added a few more cards onto the brady card and he apparently shipped them Feb 5th via FedEx & just a few hours later it got a very weird RTS. (return to sender) Throughout the past month and half he claims he has went down there multiple times to try to recover the package and essentially they can’t find it, I guess? I paid him ~$7,500 for these cards & he has yet to refund me ANY amount nor offer any other resolution. I mentioned I’d be very fair and would do a payment plan or even trade + cash towards the debt or full trade lol. If the package actually did get lost / stolen, it is a very SHITTY situation considering he would be out the cards and I would be out my money. However, it’s part of the business - if you can’t risk shipping a package that you can’t properly reimburse if it gets lost then you shouldn’t be in the business. I understand $7,500 is a large sum of money and it can take some time to recoup funds to send back but that is why I was so open and transparent about figuring out a solution that works for both of us. He has a wife, two young boys and I understand adding a $7,500 “bill” to an already expensive world can be brutal. Especially, if he already spent my money on other stuff. The reason I didn’t make this post sooner is due to the fact he is still occasionally responding to me & he has always been a super nice guy. However, I now feel like i’m being somewhat taken advantage of for my generosity towards this situation. I still have hope Brian will do the right thing & make me whole. (as he told me via text March 5th) If you have any ideas on where these cards could potentially be - lmk asap and we can hopefully find a solution. Drop your thoughts below about the entire situation. This business isn’t for the faint hearted & can absolutely suck sometimes. Thanks for the support ❤️

@srs_candidate @Three_Cone “Been in the league a while” does not equate to getting playing time. He was not a ball handler or anything outside of a spot up shooter in his OKC tenure because they have stars on that team that take the ball up, he was just complimentary. Now he gets to work on everything else

@TheSJCardz @Three_Cone Been in the league a while and made zero progress in that department. He lives on the perimeter and I seriously doubt if he even has the mental resilience to change much. We’ll see how he develops but the writing is on the wall

@Three_Cone Still the same player. 5 field goal attempts so far and not a single one anywhere near the hoop. What he’s doing from 3 right now looks great today but it’s unsustainable long term

@Underdog *Yards from scrimmage, definitely not rushing yards because our rushing attack. We are literally 25th in the league in rushing. Our running back duo is also top 5 in targets so 1,000 yards from scrimmage should be bare minimum. This metric does not include any way mean success
