Highlights included: - Large amount of waste removed by Street Cleansing - Abandoned vehicles identified & being dealt with - Good engagement with the residents of Moulton Court, who were able to raise any issues or concerns. We'll continue to monitor the area.

Officers from the Priority ASB Team, @BedsFire , Highways, NET, @TheSLP1 & Housing Agency 'S R Wood & Son' came together this week to hold an environmental action day in Moulton Court, Moulton Rise - due to ongoing issues such as waste & anti-social behaviour. @lutoncouncil

Our ASB Victims Champion supported this EAD and joined colleagues from the Priority ASB Team on a doorknock to speak to residents about their concerns about ASB in the area and offered support and advice where required.

Estates Day at Gillam Court Our ASB Victims Champion supported an Estates Day organised by Paradigm Housing Association with a colleague from @bedspolice & @lutoncouncil Priority ASB Team.

The Estates day was arranged in response to reports of drug-related ASB and environmental crime in the area. Along with litter picking, a deep clean was carried out. The ASB Victims Champion and partners spoke to residents to provide advice and reassurance.

“ What you do makes a difference, & you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make. ” This morning, I was at Dorrington close as part of another Environmental Action Day, in the Biscot Ward, following recent reports of Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) & littering in the locality, Alongside @bedspolice @bedscohesion , Priority ASB Team, @lutoncouncil @HateWasteCrime Neighbourhood Enforcement Team, The Safer Luton Partnership, @LutonSJU & Litter & fly tipping cleaning crews. This morning included me: - Patrolling Dorrington Close with antisocial behavior police officers to deter & address any incidents. - Engaging with local residents to hear their concerns & gather firsthand accounts of the issues they face. - Collaborating with street cleaning teams to remove litter & significantly improve the cleanliness & appearance of the neighborhood. As a councillor, I am deeply committed to tackling antisocial behavior & ensuring the safety & wellbeing of our community. Personally engaging with residents & addressing their concerns is a crucial part of my role. The Priority ASB Team led the event, supported by NET, Street Cleansing & @TheSLP1. Together, they removed several bags of waste from the locations, as well as door knocked and spoke to a number of residents.
