I’m in trouble. I have ZERO motivation at a time when I need maximum motivation and ACTION. My give a care is gone. It doesn’t exist. I pushed through and walked. Grounded. Took the magnesium. Drank water with salt. Drank black coffee. 8+ hours of sleep. Body and mind still shut me down. I just want to sleep. Hibernate until this is all over. I don’t want to put up with this upside-down clown world. Tired of it. I don’t enjoy any of the things that I used to. I don’t care about any of it. Just surviving. Doesn’t feel like living. Your comment is concerning, as are the many people that liked your comment and don’t recognize the difference between discipline and abuse. For clarity discipline is about teaching of rules or behavior, and though it may include punishment it’s not about punishment. I am gen x. Have been punished with a belt ONCE in my life (after essentially asking for it, as such would say it was deserved), i wouldnt hesitate to do the same with my own children when they were younger (they’re all grown now) had a situation called for it (which it never did). Neither situation did, or would look anything like this abusive display.
