Hey, @instagram. I've twice reported savage8 and savage10.. accts that are pretending to be me... using the "report account"->"its pretending to be someone else"->"me". And twice now I'm told doesn't violate standards... both accounts use my profile photo on insta. Do better.

@jhasomesh As others have said, its satire (although pitched very straight so the intent is to confuse some people). However, I think the real sad state of affairs is that crazy talk and reality are close enough that we can confuse the two.

When our founding fathers passed the 18th amendment giving the women the right to vote, it was with the understanding that they would vote the same way as their husbands and fathers. This is unfair and a grave threat to our democracy if women are just going to vote higgledy-piggledy for any candidate that suits their fancy.

@RSWestmoreland @virullius @mubix The only definition of Class A,B,C was the first 3 bits at the front of the address. There was no other definition. The first bit of any 10.x.x.x address zero, hence, every address in that range was a Class A address, any subranges were Class A.
Except now they are classless.

@supersat Again ianal, but it seems like you’d need to try to argue that the particular choice of parameters and model architecture was expressive. In general, mechanical transformations seem unlikely to quality. You also have the derivative work question which is being litigated now.

When people leave for another University, I have heard of cases where colleagues stop talking to them. Instead many of my colleagues have recently reached out to me and asked, for example:
"Can I have your monitor?"
"What are you going to do with couch in your office?"

@georgemporter @lorisdanto Yeah, I think the first such paper I had like that was AFRAID (A Frequently Redundant Array of Independent Disks) -- where the name came first, followed by the research into what the name might mean that could be useful.
