I've been playing Subnautica 2 for about 2.8 hours. It's actually pretty decent. It's still in early access and some things aren't optimized enough yet, but overall I'm enjoying it. I still prefer the original Subnautica, but this easily clears Subnautica: Below Zero.

@MasteroftheTDS Ah, that's interesting. I liked the ending of Below Zero, but didnt like the appreciated campaign. Didn't feel like you ever went "deep enough" in it.

Sorry, but after Below Zero, decent or great is about as far as I can go this early. Below Zero had a really strong early access start too, then they kept changing the story and other elements, and it just didn’t land as well for me by the end. So yeah, I’m enjoying this a lot, but I’m not in the masterpiece phase yet. Need to see where it goes first, if that makes sense.

@MasteroftheTDS That's fair. Perhaps, I just feel it deserves more than decent. Seeing its current EA form is quite impressive and way ahead of the first installment.

You seem to think my saying it’s decent means something else entirely. When I say decent, I mean it’s good. There are a couple things here and there I think could be improved, but it’s also early access. I’m not going to call it amazing yet because there simply isn’t enough of the game available for me to fully form that kind of opinion.

If ratings from IGN dont matter, why pay attention? Subnautica has a great history. People have been excited for years for native co-op. First was great, stands to reason this will be.

@NAPainter_ @NerdFanUniverse @Cozmo23 Its not a massive catch up when you play this game for several hours a day on stream. Seasons are 4 months long. Glad you are sorry for what you did, but the suspension should have carried you much farther into the season. Especially because of how gleeful you were about it all

With Permission from Cozmo, I am now posting about this. I received a 1 month suspension from Marathon a couple days ago for "deliberately ruining the online experience for others, either by cheating, exploiting a game glitch, or being disruptive" Let me make this clear. I am more than ok with this outcome. I made a mistake and did something fucked up. I'm willing to take this. No questions asked. No complaints given. I have reached out to both Fired and Icy and done what I can do to make amends and properly apologize. It doesn't make up for what I did, but I would say I am now on neutral terms with them for the most part. If ANYONE knows how I can properly reach out to Astro, do please let me know. In the mean time I am compiling a large list of every exploit I know exists or theorize to be possible within the game and handing it over to Bungie. It may not be much, but its my first step in making amends to Bungie. To the greater Marathon community, I apologize for how my actions affected the perception of the game as a whole. I love Marathon a lot and the fact I gave the haters more ammunition isn't something I am proud of. If you would like to hear more regarding this situation and my thoughts, I did an interview with @Geezaws2 that I think accurately depicts them. One of my team mates Ivan (YoItsMcNoodle) is also included in there and I fully agree with a lot of what he said. Been goofing around with 3D to see what making a game might look like. Was very pleased to figure out how to bake Normal Maps and mix multiple textures together. Next I want to rig more characters, slap a UI on top and take some "screenshots."
