@Carra23 Disagree. The officials now intentionally do not give decisions because they think VAR will pull things back if they are wrong so they let the game go. Then it goes to VAR and they stick with the on-field decision if unsure. It's an absolute mess.

Lisandro is a worse (high line) defender than Harry Maguire as part of the last line. Both of them have good timing and good aggression to keep things tight but Maguire can actually also do that in the air. Once they get in behind, though... I have seen United get worse (or at least stay bad) at defending transitions with Lisandro Martinez and no Maguire in the team.

This is not a criticism of Kimmich who has elite quality, but more so a misprofiling of the player from the masses. Alright, he’s unbelievable on the ball, but can he play as a lone #6 in the Premier League? No chance. Heck, even in the double pivot most coaches pick Mr. Rice.

Declan Rice is a better #6 than Kimmich. Why? Because he is a on a different universe physically whilst maintaining similar on-ball quality. I said this 2 years ago and was ridiculed beyond belief. The reality is Kimmich is strictly a double pivot player or inverted fullback.
