A lot of people talk about this Crypto Cycle being pretty bad and that's because they're conditioned from prior cycles of chasing ALT's. Too much of an allocation to ALT's probably coupled with poor entries (chasing what's hot). The game is not the same this cycle.
I still think focusing on $BTC $SOL $ETH as a basket from a spot standpoint is the way to go. Then look for short term trade ideas on ALT's that have nice chart setups.
@pabocapital There's validity in your point but I think it's possible to be brought up in an upper class family and still have hunger to succeed or exceed what your parents have achieved. It depends on the way you were raised.
the saddest people i know are the kids born upper class
they soon realise it’s unlikely they could ever make enough themselves till much later in life, if ever
it then kills them to see the friends who are rich rich continue to live THE lifestyle on parents’ money
"Praising in public, criticizing in private can be a challenge in Web3.
When you praise, it's often labeled 'shilling,' and when you criticize, it's tagged as 'FUD.'
Private criticism often leads to nothing in this space. Let's strive for more constructive conversations in web3
@earlyishadopter For somebody to win, somebody's got to lose. Such is the fate of our world. If this will soothe you, the cases where people destroy their lives from gambling are very rare, similarly to those who make millions from it. 95% either lose small or make small amounts.
as a result of being a recent $RLB holder i've been using rollbit over the past few days to test it out and confirm my thoughts on the platform, something i like to do with all my bags.
i managed to make few hundred scalping but jfc this thing is programmed to be as addictive as possible. it made me bullish for my bags but also very sad for all the ppl who will lose their relationships and livelihoods as a result of staring at the live candles on the site.
i do believe rollbit offers a unique way to speculate that could be helpful to SOME ppl, but overwhelmingly if you use this platform you will increase your risk of losing it all, which is essentially their goal as a casino (and i am not ignorant to the fact that this is the ideal result as an rlb holder too).
we are deep in a bear market, so deep that we can just about see the light shining through. the coins are cheap, i would implore you to be spot-only and not gamble during these times. look at the chart the past 6 months, this is not the time to try directionally trade on leverage.
there will come a time where money rains from the sky and you will wish you had the capital to capture it, pls be careful friends and i hope to see you on the other side. i think $RLB is going to go up a lot, but i hope it is not fuelled by the blood of my frens
hilarious to me seein some influencers join friend tech and say how much their portfolio has grown from how little they put in
when they made a fuck ton off of trading fees from joining
gj tho it’s baiting the newbs we love to see it
@FWNietz Very rarely, other people help you find things about yourself that you perhaps wouldn't have discovered, in most cases through their actions or how they react to your own actions. Nevertheless, in the end, the only opinion that should matter to you is yours. Great thoughts.
@Hermes_0x Fairly convinced the app will remain relevant, but also fairly convinced people will believe it's dead a few more times before they realize it's going to stay. Expecting activity to decline temporarily for certain periods.
@0x_Leo_ Reasonable strategy. I would also recommend allocating a percentage of the capital for people with the potential of reaching thousands of followers in the next years. I believe you can tell from now.
i’m going to play friend tech the same way I play all shitcoins now that’s it’s more established
i’m simply going to ape hard with conviction into a spot when I see it and look for a liquid 2-3x with size
obv gonna post in my friend tech first when I find it
