@TrinkleWesley @rookisaacman Having worked there I can confirm more money would absolutely help they’ve had to layoff so many good people and had people leave because of poor pay

@TheSpacePlumber throwing money at stuff doesn’t automatically make it better or fix problems, it often worsens stuff like bloat and poor efficiency. @rookisaacman even says the budget should stay low so the organisation becomes efficient

@TheSpacePlumber NASA needs to tell SpaceX what it wants to do and fund them. They'll do it better, cheaper, and with much less bearacracy. ...I feel like I spelled that wrong.

@Noble_Zero1 They will eventually they just aren’t as far along as nasa is yet but companies like SpaceX will probably never get into the research only missions that nasa specializes in

@TheSpacePlumber That’s why I said just to outsource the rockets. They can focus more money on the other stuff and keep reusing the rockets to do it. It’s a win win

Earthset. The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon.

@TheSpacePlumber Unfortunately, they won't be able to compete long term with SpaceX. We need to concentrate more on space 100% agree. More money won't solve DC's bureaucracy though. Slow and convoluted. Stick to a strong partnership with SpaceX.
