Jesus Christ. I sent in my PhD thesis (diva-portal.org/smash/get/diva…) to ChatGPT 5 and asked it to come up with an extension + proof - and it right away delivers a result that is almost ready for publishing in comp sci. this would have taken me weeks of work.

@thomasbrushdev I think it would have worked if you started it with that name. Now it is too late and sounds wrong. If you have to have your name in it, call it Thomas talks to Gamedevs or something that gives it focus.

I'm going to be changing the name of the podcast to The Thomas Brush Show as opposed to Full Time Game Dev. I really want to talk to all kinds of people in the game industry space. What are your thoughts guys?

I don't think people realize how bad things have become in Sweden. We have almost 60 no-go zones now, these are areas where police have lost control and parallel societies have formed where the gangs rule. There has been over 100 bombings so far this year. It's a disaster.

@Friedemann_A It is rough openly talking or posting about AI. Basically, a modern-day witch hunt, I get the scare of the shady businesses that grabbed so much copyrighted works, though. I feel people are blindly hostile as an attempt to fight back at something they have no control over.

I hate AI discourse on here so much. This clearly looks appealing & fresh to people, and devs will 100% be using AI to come up with cool art directions. It’s also gonna be super challenging to turn this vid into an actual game. Why are those two opinions mutually exclusive?
