As I have repeatedly written on Twitter (in recent months)... the problem @SquawkCNBC viewers should have with Joe Kernen is not his politics (as that is his own business) - it is his lack of preparation (which causes him to remain off (business) topic and to default to political dogma). The general quality of his journalism has been beneath the standard that exists on @cnbc for decades.

Taxing non-income-producing property is wrong. Homeowners should not be forced to work to pay "rent" to the government for the privilege of living in their own homes. Property taxes should only be levied on income-producing property, as the income provides a means to pay the tax.
