Even if not on the player, it might go against the club, who'd you then hope would punish the player internally for his awful behaviour. Those scenes are not a good look for Sporting.

@Britpopmemories This is an interesting point. You're right there weren't many. Just thinking how Embrace having 2 no. 1 albums in that period is pretty massive achievement looking back now. Stereophonics had a big record with Dakota and LSVO. Both 1997ish Britpop bands.
