The video of Tyre Nichols is brutal. NOTHING requires that level of force. Cop culture is disgusting. And the fact that they thought any of this was okay is a reflection of the system they signed on to be a part of. I’m disgusted. He lost his life over a traffic stop. My God.

This video is beyond the pale. Police kill 2200+ Americans a year and kill Black people at 3.5X as much as white people. No other developed country comes even close. This isn’t justice. It’s tyranny. If the rest of the world had found a better way, why can’t we? #TyreNichols

Continues to shoot inside, shooting someone, and then killing an employee and then himself towards the back of Safeway. Bend Oregon Cops were there QUICKLY… Massive presence within 1-3 minutes. Looking back, It was incredible just how ‘on it’ they were. @BendCityPolice

Starts firing again in the parking lot/entrance killing first person. Walks inside Safeway, firing. This is when I heard someone say ‘he went inside Safeway’, and the gunfire sounded inside not outside any more. (Bend Oregon Safeway Shooting)

Outlets reporting gunfire ‘erupted’ in Safeway, or person ‘opened fire in Safeway’ make it sound like there was already an issue ongoing inside Safeway - there wasn’t. It was a man on a mission for mass casualties and death in the entire area. I was there, here’s what I know.

Was just in an active shooter situation in Bend Oregon, and let me tell ya... ‘Twas terrifying. Never going in public again.
