Greetings Commanders, Thank you again for your continued patience. The Operations update, as you know, is a significant undertaking, and we’ve spent the majority of today carrying out final testing ahead of launch. Unfortunately, we’ve encountered a couple of issues that we feel are important to resolve before you get your hands on it. As a result, we’ll be reopening the servers and ending maintenance shortly, with Operations temporarily disabled. This will give us the time needed tomorrow to properly address these issues. While Operations will be disabled when we reopen the servers, the Nomad release is not being delayed further. We understand this isn’t the news many of you were hoping to hear today, but we believe it’s important to be open and transparent, and to ensure you have the best possible experience with this exciting new feature.

I was about 150+ jumps away from my carrier last night in sectors that neither INARA or Spansh had ever heard of. Started working my way home and a few jumps in I just happened to stumble on a Neutron Star. Plugged it into Spansh and... BAM 52 Neutron path home. Bought myself a Caspian, as my Venerable Asp X with the 3% paint job is not set up for the Nomad. Maybe Neutron back out to where I was and resume finding pristine virgin planets and planting my muddy boots on them.

Elite Dangerous servers are now offline for the release of the Operations Update. Downtime is expected to end around 3PM BST.

@EGrimalkin1967 @TheTechWorldPod @EliteDangerous I thought the vessel bay was included with ARX purchase too but if not that's a problem for sure. Even having outfitting installed isn't going to solve that since you'll have to go to a carrier service center to purchase your new outfitting stock.

@BrianMcCrary15 @TheTechWorldPod @EliteDangerous The owner can always outfit modules you currently store on the Carrier. Theoretically nobody will have the Vessel Bays already stored. You would need the Outfitting Module as that would have Fighter Hangers -> Vehicle Hangers in it. But though possible, who in reality has this?
