@KickingGirl_ Strong, beautiful piece. Hope to see many more.

@polbaladas Actually, I was quoting Freed Bales at Harvard, who told me "the computer is the greatest projective device ever created," or something like that. (This was 1960 or so.)

This is now my favourite @TheTedNelson quote. Brilliant!

"The computer is a projective device... it's a Rorschach test, anyone will see in it that which is of the most concern to them" - Ted Nelson

This is me trying to be dark and twisty. But I like cuddles and caring.

@SamMallicoat Hi Sam-- I remember your name but not you exactly. Am I right that Marlene and I were at a memorial for another Sam Mallicoat?

@manjusrii @mamund @MattBishopL3 @DameWendyDBE The first clickable links were at Brown University in the HES system, circa 1966. They were white-on-black, brighter than the rest of the text, on an expensive CRT. My other ideas were thrown out. I was unpaid, unthanked and undocumented, and I used up my savings of $12,000.
English

@mamund @MattBishopL3 @DameWendyDBE @TheTedNelson I don’t talk about colour as early displays were monochrome. So I guess you could say the first hyperlinks were green! It would’ve happened after the 80’s

Why are hyperlinks blue? Great history hypermedia as a bonus! blog.mozilla.org/en/internet-cu…
