@PracticalTheolo And only using insults shows this. You as a Unitarian dont have an answer for everything. You lost. You tried to prove your point, tried to be intellectual, but once you look at it honestly, your view falls apart.

@PracticalTheolo Sorry but no. Flat earthers dont have answers for everything. Ontop of that, Flat Earthers are a minority for a reason. Just like unitarians claim to "Christianity" is a minority. (Yall arent Christian.) The Truth always wins out. You using insults now,

Just a reminder: Clever-sillies given enough time will come up with answers to almost *any* objections for a given theory. Think someone hasn't come up with answers to whatever objections you have to flat earthism, for ex.? Guess again! Having answers to objections is a bare minimum. It's not what makes a theory a good one.

@PracticalTheolo That's not what happened. "The Father is your God and My God." "Jesus, you are my Lord and my God." "You believe because you have seen. Blessed are those who believe but havent seen."

@CatholicDrip___ I was warming up to the catholic church, but then you became one of the people who started to show me why I didnt like it in the first place. When have you ever shown protestants love?

@Oluwadaniel_0 God does not need to be exalted by another. Jesus didnt NEED to be exalted. God can ascend to the same God. Jesus is not less God than the Father.

Almighty God does not need to be exalted by another. Almighty God does not ascend to his God. Almighty God does not sit at the right hand of someone greater.

@R_CathPR @romero_mau69771 In the scriptures, the only time they spoke to spiritual beings apart from God is when they physically appeared infront of them. The only time you see anyone use spiritual means of communication with anything other than God, it ends up being bad

@R_CathPR @romero_mau69771 Again. Ironic. You keep failing to miss the point. I understand you use spiritual means of communication. I say it is wrong to use spiritual means is communication unless you are communicating with God.

@TheTrueTA @R_CathPR His body is am empty shell until the Lord resurrects it and reunites it with his soul and perfects him. It isn’t his dead body who we ask, but his soul in Paradise.

@R_CathPR It's the how. Unless Peter appears next to you like what happened with Jesus, there is no way to communicate with him without it being spiritual.

@R_CathPR You are using a spiritual method of communication to speak to people beyond the grave. Yes, Peter is alive, but his body is in the grave. You're talking to him from beyond the grave. Thats the problem being debated. Not the fact you are asking someone to pray for you.

So no, asking the Saints for prayers is not "replacing Jesus." Otherwise every Christian who asks another Christian for prayer is also "replacing Jesus." And praying to them is not idolatry, because prayer is not the same as worship, even if Protestants want to pretend it is.

@R_CathPR Again, thats the claim. You claim that. You claim that praying to God is different from praying to the Saints or Mary. How is it different?

...accept this distinction every time they use the word "idolatry" which comes from: "eidolon" (idol) + "latreia" (worship). Idolatry literally means the worship of false gods. Catholics do not give "latreia" to Mary, the Saints, statues, or angels, but to God ALONE.

@R_CathPR How do you talk to Saint Peter? Again, its not that youre asking someone to pray for you. Its the method of communication.

...when we say: "Saint Peter, pray for us." We're asking for intercession. Worship, however, is something entirely different. The classical Biblical term for Divine worship is the Greek word "latreia," the worship due to God alone. In fact, Protestants themselves already...

@R_CathPR You didnt. You showed that prayer as "petitioning" is not worship. You havent done anything to show that prayer as a communication method is not worship, or even okay to do at all even if it isnt worship.

@R_CathPR Exactly. The answer is not at all. Because the only way to communicate with them are ways we shouldn't be except for with God

How can Someone so good (God) come out of a woman who is a sinner? Does it even make any sense to you, Protestants?? The kind of heresies you people spread on the timeline makes me sick! So you're saying that God does not have the power to make His Mother, the very Woman who nurtured Him, breastfed Him, sinless??

@UcheMaryOkoli Its not derogatory. Its descriptive. They are in communion with what again? Rome? Thats why its Roman Catholic. You arent the only church that claims the title Catholic. The Eastern Orthodox calls itself the Orthodox Catholic church. Is it derogatory to call it Eastern Orthodox?

Why would you even call the Catholic Church "Roman Catholic" when we have 24 autonomous churches(sui iuris) that are in communion with Rome? It is derogatory to call the Catholic Church, "Roman Catholic Church."

@R_CathPR You can't. I specified the communication method. You went straight for a different definition. Praying to someone as in "petition" is not the issue.
