@jmgmoron Love to see people thinking Fonseca will play Next Gen. He’s way passed that now
English

@cannibaelism They had Martina Navratilova and Ivan Lendl, and they used them as examples and built programs, coaching around them as what you can become.
If only other countries could follow suit…
English

@jessicaschiffer Probably just getting a feel to the clay with some needed rest until he plays most Clay Masters and RG
English

@showfortennis Very true, until they face Jannik Sinner😭
English

Jiri Lehecka isn’t playing around in Miami
Dismantled Arthur Fils today 2&2 in 75 minutes
Drops a 130mph bomb to seal it. What a match from the top Czech player in the world
He did not miss a return or a rally ball all day. Ripping
Up to #10 in the Race to Turin now (+54)
English

Really would like to see Jiri Lehecka fight it out with Jannik Sinner tomorrow.
I’m yet to see anyone, not named Carlos Alcaraz, battle this man properly in a final.
#MiamiOpen #JannikSinner

@pavyg Most times I watch a Swiatek match, you see Fisette and then rest of the team as if isolating themself from him.
It was a long time coming, Wimbledon just kept him around longer.
English

@RickMacci @tennisqueeniga Iga needs to change her psychologist.
English

Iga is a champion and will win many majors in the future for sure. I am not sure what is in her head but she needs a different perspective on her mindset going forward and positive triggers and rituals to follow and stay locked in and loaded. She will figure everything out because greatness is cut from a different cloth. @WTA
English

@CDEccleshare @jessicaschiffer That psychogologist is the problem. She’s controlling everything. Need to ship her off @iga_swiatek
English

Fissette gone, but was he really the issue? Big call from Swiatek, even if not a surprising one

@TennisChannel Don’t understand the hype behind her as a player
English

@AlcarazCarlosFr Needs to skip either Madrid or Rome. 2 weeks is too much.
English

@josemorgado He’s finally found some form again. Felix struggling to find his feet on non indoor hard courts again… what a shocker ….
English

Wow.
Terrence Atmane defeats #8 Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 to reach the last 16 in Miami.
Awaits Mensik or Tiafoe tomorrow (all ATP R16 will be played tomorrow).
It's one of those weeks where he looks like a top 20 player.

English

@christophclarey Maybe she needs to look at the people surrounding her other than the main Coach. It seems more a mental problem she is facing.
English

Less than a year after winning #Wimbledon, Iga Swiatek splits with coach Wim Fissette
Fissette, for whom change is no stranger, has coached four different players to Grand Slam singles titles (Clijsters, Kerber, Osaka, Swiatek) but could not manage to lift Iga out of her downward spiral.

At some point, we need to talk about Iga’s team…
Bastien Fachan@BastienFachan
Wim Fissette, everyone: - 3x Grand Slam champion with Kim Clijsters - Coached Sabine Lisicki and Simona Halep to their first Grand Slam finals - 1x Grand Slam champion with Angelique Kerber - 2x Grand Slam champion with Naomi Osaka - 1x Grand Slam champion with Iga Swiatek 👏👏
English

@Parag_Gupta 1- He doesn’t play in the Big 3 era.
2- He’s got lots of points to defend going into the Clay Court swing, and really up to the end of the summer, so maybe taking some time off now before the grueling clay court tennis starts is wise?
English

This generation needs a lot of pampering. Last I checked it was March and not December - he needs to re-charge????
Imagine if he played in the Big 3 era? Alcatraz wouldnt be Top 10.
CARLOS ALCARAZ 👑 NEWS@AlcarazCarlosFr
Carlos Alcaraz 🇪🇦 🗣️: “My goal is to take a few days off to recover, both mentally and physically. I’m going home to my family and friends, and I’m resting as much as the team allows. I need to regain the motivation to get back on the pitch.”
