$MSTR Strategy is proof that you cannot stop a force whose time has come. But before @Strategy , before Bitcoin, before any of it, there was just a man trying to figure out what he was supposed to do with his life. Saylor grew up with four ambitions. He wanted to become a rock star. He knew the odds were against him and let that one go early. He wanted to become a fighter pilot. He got enrolled in the Air Force ROTC program, earned a scholarship to MIT, and was on his way. Then a heart condition ended it. A misdiagnosis, as it turned out. But at the time it gave him a pass from serving. And then the Cold War ended. Reagan cut the military forces in half. The macroeconomic conditions of the era meant he would likely have been pulled back from the reserves had things gone differently. Instead he was let go entirely. Two forces, one personal and one global, conspiring to push him in a new direction. What the Air Force gave him before all of that was MIT. And at MIT he studied the history of science and technology alongside engineering, getting close to something that would never leave him. The understanding that technology always finds its way and that the right idea at the right time cannot be stopped. His third ambition was to become a professor. After graduating he took a job for two years, collecting money and applying for fellowships. He had received one. Harvard and MIT were waiting. He was almost out the door when, while working for a billionaire, he had built a model that could predict the movement of a billion dollars in investment. His boss found out he was leaving. The CEO sent people to convince him to stay. Saylor told them the only thing that would keep him was a ticket to his last remaining ambition. To become the CEO of a public company. He was handed millions in funding, office space, and ten people to work with. He had nothing to lose. The professor path was waiting if everything else failed. — It was 1989. The timing was perfect. A few years earlier and the company would never have gained the traction it did. A few years later and the dot com crash would have buried it before it had a chance to breathe. But it launched at exactly the right moment. Within a few years he had hundreds of people working for him. They went public and never looked back. For the next three decades he built, iterated, and kept searching for the thing that would make a true dent in the world. Then COVID came. His balance sheet was bleeding. He was forced to make a choice.. And the only answer he could find was Bitcoin. And to this day, the story is still being written. $STRC is the latest chapter. — Rock star. Fighter pilot. Professor. CEO. Every door that closed pushed him through to the next one. From luck. To hope. To destiny. You cannot stop a technology whose time has come. And you cannot stop the man who was built by a lifetime of perfectly timed closed doors to find it. $BTC $MSTR $STRC

I can't sleep because I'm up thinking about how Bitcoin is going to absorb all monetary premium from the world's archaic assets and go to $10,000,000

Jeff Walton: "Our balance sheet needs to go up about 5.5% annually to pay the dividends forever. The money supply is growing at 6.7% annually. We are underwriting the next 8 to 10 years of Bitcoin to go up 30 to 35% compound annual growth rate." Coffeezilla: "It's not going to do that." Walton: "That's just a disagreement. The world's never seen a fixed supply asset. The supply of Bitcoin is asymptotically approaching zero. You've got ETFs growing rapidly, institutions coming in, credit being issued against it. The entire credit market is $300 trillion. This is the biggest total addressable market on the planet."
