Grateful for the courage of Principal Kirk Moore in Oklahoma who ran toward danger, took a bullet, and put himself between harm and his students. This is what heroism looks like. But let’s be clear: this is a kind of bravery that should never be required. Our children’s leading killer is gun violence. We cannot just praise courage we must match it. Honor him not just with words, but with action. We must do more to pass common sense gun safety laws to save more of our children.

The only discharge petition I will support is one that discharges all of these people back to Haiti. In 2022, Terry and Brenda Aultman were riding their bikes home when a Hatian on TPS killed them in my district. When do we care about their deaths? A few weeks ago, Yasmin Easman was murdered again by a Hatian here on TPS who used a hammer to crush her skull. When do we care about her? TPS is a huge SCAM. Let me be clear: I did not come here to protect Haitians; I came to protect Americans and our great country.

If Democrats get their way on DHS funding, the Coast Guard, FEMA, and TSA will once again have to go without their paychecks. This isn’t a rational policy discussion—it’s about trying to force Republicans to defund ICE.
