Another General Assembly day, another step forward for Virginia's workers! HB1263 (@KathyKLTran) passed the House Labor and Commerce-Subcommittee 2 yesterday and was sent to Appropriations. Thank you to all who showed up and supported! @Virginia_AFLCIO

Last night, we were pleased to pass a major hurdle in the Virginia Senate. SB378 (@ssurovell) was reported from the Commerce and Labor Committee. We are encouraged we will finally give all Virginia workers the right to meet and bargain in good faith with their employers.

Your Virginia firefighters are reminding you to slow down, move over and remain alert. It's the law! Virginia's Move Over Law means a vehicle must yield right of way or reduce speed when approaching stationary vehicles displaying warning lights. This is for our safety AND yours.
