@sama Would be great if development MCP server functions worked reliably in the ChatGPT UI. I’ve tested the same dev server in other contexts and it works everywhere else - only the ChatGPT UI seems to fail. Hope your AI is still able to get the basics done 😉

@sama Small Codex UX idea: GPT-5.5 medium seems to use more quota than 5.4 xhigh did for me, especially noticeable in plan mode. It might help to count limits by tier, so after hitting 5.5 xhigh, users can still try high/medium/low and learn which tasks really need which level.

I am very excited about AI, but to go off-script for a minute: I built an app with Codex last week. It was very fun. Then I started asking it for ideas for new features and at least a couple of them were better than I was thinking of. I felt a little useless and it was sad.
