Be ruthless, treasure the memories and laugh together - key lessons that I’ve learnt from playing in cup finals that I hope will serve as an inspiration for the current Arsenal crop thetimes.com/sport/football…

it takes 1 average (not even bad) game for people to say ‘best cm itw 😂😂’ ‘bricklayer’ about Rice Pedri & Jude go months without big game performances, months injured, & they get gassed to the moon Once you accept Rice is the undeniable #1 itw the standards make sense

No pundit here believed Arsenal would win the PL. Someone even had Chelsea winning it ahead of Arsenal…

@Advitiya2907 This doesn't prove anything. At this point (after Sporting moreso), anyone can knock out anyone. It's a cup competition. All teams still in the comp have superstar finishers.

This just says to me that a lot of the other teams have superstars who can score great goals from low quality chances. Something we saw in the Leverkusen game that we haven't been doing enough of. Just shoot! This is how PSG knocked us out last season.

PL teams combined xG in R16: 22.3 Opponents’ combined xG in R16: 20.2 The grand conclusion to be drawn from the Premier League’s struggles? Don’t draw grand conclusions from eight days of cup football. cbssports.com/soccer/news/pr…

@Advitiya2907 I meant more superstar finishers. Arsenal definitely do - moreso this year than last year where Merino was our CF and Saka tore his hamstring

@VanityDC7 I’d argue the other Prem teams are the rugby teams, not Arsenal. Arsenal adapt to their environment. In the Prem, rugby is required. In the UCL, good football is required. Arsenal have shown they can do both. It‘s the others who forgot how to play football hence why they got KO‘d

The fact that they’re force stopping you all into accepting how good they are is insane. A team who won 8/8 UCL GS games. Top of the league. In all competitions and have scored the most goals in the country despite being apparently ‘BAD’. I need them to be very arrogant once they win.
Jonathan Morley@jmorleylfc

Arsenal were great tonight. They genuinely could win both the Premier League & Champions League this season. I’m going to have to stop this agenda. They’re a very good side.

I think Man City's biggest problem is they treat every game like it's do or die and this hyper emotional state can't be easy to contend with over 3+ years. You can't be on the brink constantly, all the time. Sometimes a game has to be just a game.

Everton overspent by £19.5m on a stadium and were docked 10 points. Chelsea made illegal payments to help sign players and got a fine. The Premier League is the most corrupt organisation you will ever come across. Total disgrace.
Sky Sports Premier League@SkySportsPL

BREAKING: Chelsea have been handed a suspended one-year ban from signing first-team players, a nine-month ban from registering academy players and given a £10million fine from the Premier League relating to breaches of financial rules during Roman Abramovich's time as owner.

I'll be honest - I hear this, but at the same time the feeling I had in the stadium was quite different. I felt in my bones we were gonna do it. The team exuded the determination required to get it over the line. That second half performance was relentless from us.

I still can’t believe how Arsenal’s game transpired on Saturday night. It felt like we were reliving our worst nightmare and all of a sudden the script flips and we are living our wildest dreams.
