The three of us were on the couch watching cartoons. Madeline asked for cereal I realized we were out of milk so I ran out to get some. @quachelsey So true. I don't like all-in-one machines, I have separate for everything so if something goes out, I'm not sunk. I've been thru at least 6 instant pots in 8 years and decided to forgo anymore. My first one was second-hand and lasted the longest though!

My day in the kitchen counting the number of appliances (not including oven) I used. This was a very typical day. 1 - coffee grinder for beans 2 - electric percolator for coffee 3 - immersion blender for toddler egg slonk drink 4 - bread machine for brioche loaf 5 - electric kettle to brew black tea for a batch of iced tea 6 & 7 - two instant pots for beans and rice
