@Urban__Tree When I was a young teen my grandpa told me how he prayed for his future spouse ever since he was a boy and found my granny when he was 27 (she was 32).
Ever since that story, I have been praying for him…wherever he may be. ❤️

Two German friends came to visit me in Texas over a decade ago. Naturally I took them to the Fort Worth Rodeo. They absolutely LOVED it. The only part that puzzled them was when a cowgirl galloped on horseback around the ring with a Coca Cola flag. They asked, “Isn’t this government funded?” I said “Nope”. That surprised them.
They also loved the steakhouses I took them to but I could not get them to order steak properly- they always wanted well-done.

Given some recent discourse, thought I’d share some thoughts. I, myself, prefer, and believe it is Biblically shown, to prefer and aim to marry a virgin, as you yourself should be one as well.
But I do not believe we should put down or a man or woman, who have changed from their ways of fornication, no matter the past, and turn to Jesus.
We should be happy someone has repented and turned to Christ. All sin is evil. We’re all sinners, and yet… Jesus still forgave us nonetheless.
There is nothing wrong with preferring to marry a virgin tho, people still have standards.

Great job in the Kentucky House on “the chicken bill!” This bill would finally allow Kentucky farmers and shoppers to take full advantage of the federal exemption for small farms/processors. Buy local, eat healthy.

I am pleased to report that the language of a bill I have filed every year since 2021 (along with Rep. Josh Bray), has passed in the House. It is colloquially known as “the chicken bill!” If the bill becomes law, Kentucky’s poultry producers who slaughter fewer than 20,000 birds a year will be able to sell directly from their farm, a farmers market, or a roadside stand WITHOUT transporting their flock to a mobile processing unit or wading through costly, bureaucratic regulations. Kentuckians deserve access to nutritious, locally-sourced, affordable foods. There is no good reason that Kentucky’s regulations should be more strict than what is required at the federal level—whether it’s poultry production, eggs, milk, or any other agricultural product!
