The Dunning Kruger on display in space content this week has been something else. Here is what's actually happening with moon landing deniers and flat earthers and I think it's worth saying clearly. They have cast themselves as the brave rebels. The ones awake while everyone else sleeps. The ones who question while the rest of us just obey. They say you cannot trust what you cannot personally verify. But the science they are calling a coordinated global lie is the same science that built the device they are using to say so. The same peer reviewed understanding of how the universe works that they are rejecting is what makes that device function. You cannot hold the proof that the framework works while arguing the framework is fake. And for anyone who wants actual independent verification that requires no institutional trust at all: amateur radio operators with zero NASA affiliation independently picked up Orion's telemetry signal on publicly listed frequencies using their own equipment after the launch. Not a government feed. Random people with radios finding a spacecraft because it was there. The science is either real or the device in your hand does not work. You're reading this... it works.

I've noticed one thing. Something changed in the algorithm, or I'm shadowbanned since yesterday. When I have several comments and reposts, the number of my views is usually around ten times the number of my likes. Under my posts from yesterday, this rule is not working. When I multiply my likes by ten, the result is much higher than the actual views I see under the post. Now I'm starting to wonder what exactly I wrote to make the algorithm limit my views. Definitely it was something too right for the system to bear. 😅🤔

Just got verification from YouTube that showing people how to bypass age verification will result in a strike. Since Microsoft is likely tying this into their Microsoft account requirements, it means the days of showing people how to bypass it are over. Big tech wants your data and they are willing to erase you to make sure they get it.

Laws are passing at the state level *right now* that require age verification at the OS level. No more anonymity. Everything you post online logged and tied to you forever. It's not about child safety. It's about control. And it's not just the US. It's a coordinated worldwide effort.

@Houseofyogi I really don't get this assertion that Americans don't have to prove citizenship to vote. You prove it when you register. Requiring a passport that costs a couple hundred bucks amounts to an unconstitutional poll tax and that's not what passports are for.

I’ve been having a lot of thoughts that I don’t know what to do with, so here. You can quit your job, you can leave your city, you can delete your socials, but the fact you CANNOT opt out of civilization without severe penalty is one of the most underrated dark facts of human existence. You didn’t consent to be born into a system. You can’t leave it. You just have to…participate, forever, or else. And the cruelest part is that the system you’re trapped in isn’t even neutral, it’s capitalism. Which means your survival is literally tied to your productivity. It’s not enough to just exist, you have to be useful & profitable or you left behind. And this isn’t new. In medieval England, if you tried to opt out permanently, the crown seized your property & the church denied you a burial. They couldn’t punish YOU, so they punished everything you left behind. The message has always been the same: there is no exit, only consequences. Nothing has changed except the branding. And before anyone comes at me, yes, I’m using that as the extreme example on purpose. I’m not advocating for anything, I’m pointing out that the most extreme possible form of opting out is the ONLY one that truly exists & throughout history, even that came with punishment. If that doesn’t tell you everything about how the system is designed, I don’t know what will. And yet here I am, tweeting about it, paying for a subscription on a platform owned by a billionaire. I’m going to go touch grass now.
