🚨%Drafted vs Should Be Drafted🚨 Players put a great deal of trust in #CFB programs, but which teams deserve it? Of the Top 20 teams at recruiting in 2019, only a handful get even 50% of players that Should Be Drafted into the #NFL #Development gets players into the league.

Sorry, @The_Data_Dawg. You’re the only one I know who would protest “at Purdue” not being in the Top 4.

The rumors are officially true. Starbucks is building a new HQ in Nashville, Tennessee. The company announced Tuesday that it is a $100 million investment expected to create 2,000 jobs. The coffee giant said it will keep its Seattle headquarters, and Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol labeled the move as an expansion, rather than any sort of relocation from the company's longtime home of Seattle. Washington's new high-earners income tax will mainly pay for government services, with less than one-third of the funds sent back to residents in tax cuts. ebx.sh/obPHs1

From @WSJopinion: A secret to the Evergreen State’s success has been that it has no income tax. But Democrats in Olympia are perilously close to enacting a “millionaire tax” of 9.9%, write Arthur Laffer and Stephen Moore. on.wsj.com/4bxrqXI

Washington is 45th in tax competitiveness — it is not a low tax state. The state taxes business on revenue rather than profits, taxes long-term capital gains, and has an egregious estate tax. There won’t be another Microsoft or Amazon or Starbucks in this environment. Everyone keeps talking about the mythical couple whose combined income is $1.2 million and whether or not they will move over $20,000 in incremental tax. That’s not the real question. The question is whether their jobs will stay in state or be moved over time (the jobs will leave). The question is also about variable income, partially tied to restricted stock units or other short term windfalls, that are meant to compensate for under earning years, and whether startup founders will be encouraged to move or not start businesses here to begin with. The question is how the relatively new long-term capital gains taxes combined with new windfall taxes (for many people a year above $1 million earnings represents a windfall) changes the state’s competitiveness. And finally, the question is how the combination of already taxing revenue, already taxing long-term capital gains, and having a confiscating estate tax all combine with this new tax to make the state less economically competitive. The question is whether people are OK with leaving less money to their heirs living in this state, than if they had lived in any other state, when they have *already paid other taxes* all along? The question is what is our environment to quit a W-2 job and found a new company and create new jobs? These questions do not have answers that are favorable to Washington state. taxfoundation.org/statetaxindex/…
Governor Bob Ferguson@GovBobFerguson

Washington state families with income in the bottom 20% pay 13.8% of their total income in taxes. Those with income in the top 1% pay only 4.1% of their income. We rank 50th in tax fairness. It's time to change our upside-down tax system.

Can we have a new rule? Wins and stats against FCS opponents don’t count. Your win against an FCS team doesn’t qualify you for a bowl (or better bowl) and your player stats for awards like the Heisman omit FCS game stats. Watch how quickly every team schedules only FBS games

A couple things that puzzle me on the most recent AP Poll: Two loss Notre Dame: Ranked 13th. Those two losses: No.2 Miami and No. 4 Texas A&M. Two loss Illinois: Unranked. Their two losses: No. 1 Ohio State and No. 3 Indiana. One loss USC: No. 21. That one loss: #Illinois.
