"Students participating in both the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years will lose a total of eight weeks of education due to the shift to the 13-week calendar. This is the equivalent [to] 53% of a 15-week semester or 62% of a 13-week semester." ⁠- Tavie Kittredge ’24 (she/her)

Hey #HigherEd peeps, can we PLEASE get a signal boost on this?! @DavidsonCollege and @dcadmission are trying to help high school students learn the hidden curriculum of applying to colleges. We can push for greater equity in college admissions by demystifying this process!

There are currently 2 active COVID-19 cases on campus. 70% of all students have been vaccinated. To date, Davidson has conducted over 77,000 COVID-19 tests.

The COVID response team cites the 5 positive cases on campus, unknown levels of student vaccination, and the desire to keep seniors out of quarantine for commencement as reason for their decision.

NEWS from the COVID Response Team: Davidson’s outdoor masking guidance on campus will remain in place through commencement.

There are currently 4 active COVID cases on campus. Thursday 4/29 is the last day of classes. Students will begin departing campus this weekend.

We’ve revised our demands (originally published Oct 2019) to reflect the changes at Davidson and in the world over the past 1.5 years. With the recent rise in anti-Asian hate crimes, we can no longer overlook the importance of teaching the history of Asian America.

The COVID-19 Testing Dashboard reports 0 active cases. According to a 4/14 email from the Core COVID Response Team, over a thousand students have started the vaccination process. Students should report their vaccination to davidson.studenthealthportal.com
