Resident Evil series has crossed 200M units sold and is fast catching up to Final Fantasy as the 3rd best selling Japanese game series ever! • Final Fantasy - 209M • Resident Evil - 201M Exactly 4 years ago Resident Evil was at 125M and Final Fantasy was at 168M, over 40M behind. Now there is only 8M difference and on this trajectory it looks like Resident Evil will overtake Final Fantasy very soon.

1/🧵 This is a long thread on the SQEX financials for 2026 as released about an hour ago. Compared to its peers like Capcom and Konami, SQEX's results are embarrassing, its forecasts tepid and its stock price has resultantly slid from a high around JPY3,800 last year to JPY2,476 today.
