These are some cowboys! Look at the BACKLOG of appeals in Ireland by asylum seekers at our International Protection Appeals Tribunal, run by Jim O'Callaghan/Colm Brophy Dept of Justice. They've increased 700% in the past two years. In 2025 they increased at a net of 25 per day (41 new applications, 16 cases closed). At the end of March 2026, there was a BACKLOG of 19,969 appeals, up from 2,478 in September 2023. This backlog will NEVER be cleared, and the only solution will be an amnesty. If any graph sums up how this government has totally lost control of the asylum system, this is it.

The EU is blackmailing Hungary’s new prime minister by giving him 27 conditions HE MUST ACCEPT in order to unlock over €30 billion in frozen funding. These conditions include abandoning the Orbán-era policies on LGBTQ rights, immigration, and foreign policy, particularly regarding Ukraine. Failure to comply could result in the permanent loss of further EU funds. There you have it. The EU is putting a price on your country’s independence and sovereignty. Another Somalian smuggled into Dublin Airport on Saturday on a 'lookalike' Swedish passport The Somalian has now claimed asylum and will cost the State €122,000 on average to process. A Pakistani woman with British citizenship who was with the Somalian has been charged with people smuggling, and remanded in custody. She'll cost us €100,000 a year in jail. What airline? Where did the plane travel from? Are Gardai liaising with Swedish police on the 'lookalike' passport? That's the systemic issue. But who knows, who can tell.

Their order was taken and shortly after the owner or manager went and asked them very politely to leave the premises as they were not welcome, that their presence was upsetting other customers and would they inform their colleagues they are not welcome either, As they walked out the door tail between their legs people clapped and cheered it was surreal.
