Well it's almost ready to publish. Got it on android device. Lots of headaches getting the transition but this is alpha stage 8 I guess. I need to add some art assets about 440 more rofl and and my safari screen is just a placeholder for now. First game is almost ready

Final 63 question version with overall of visuals. Octavia woke up asking to play it this morning so must be doing something right. Demo version is ready to publish for pc, but need to work on Tablet versions code a bit more. Also spent 2 hours today chasing a save bug #indiegame #kids #KidsGames #learningthroughplay

Lots of new additions: Made questions harder (Octavia was just sounding out first letter) Title Screen Gave the Game a Name "Octavia's Zoo" Added music / mute button Added feedback for right and wrong on the buttons with longer delay so the player can tell what was the right answer. Redid animations on some animals, still a few more to go to match new theme. Changed Zoo theme and art style (Not sure if i like it as much, will have to get feedback from the little one) Redid shop screen to match theme, and changed how you buy things a little bit instead of individual buy buttons just one and click on animal to buy Added option to sell animals and get full refund Raised price to 10 Tokens per Animal Changed Mouse pointer to make it stand out a bit more for her

@MachoOne3 Ya, been working on it in my down time. Octavia has been play testing it for me. She spent 40 minutes playing it today. Got a few more tweeks to do based off what I observed today. It's nearly done and she loves it.

Okay so game is in a finalized working state. I need to improve animations, add more questions I have 63 questions currently. Visual and audio feedback added. Also few bugs here and there but overall I'm pretty excited for Octavia to play the game even in its current state.

Okay pivoted my first game efforts into this game instead because I want Octavia to learn to read and she has Allready play tested this one and enjoyed it a lot. She was sounding out the words and everything. Got the basic game play loop done. Now to add 100 questions, and fix ui.

Everytime lately I try to Google something... I end up spending way to much time trying to find my answer.. Soon as I realize it I just use chat gpt and instantly get what I need.. Its a hard habit to break but Google search is utter trash compared to chat gpt.

My huge deep dive is below. This is not soliststion for you to buy. This is me sharing my thoughts on one of my investments for those interested. $clf a steel company???? Synopsis: Undervalued, vertical integration oriented, tarrifs benificiary, could reach a P/e ratio in mid 20s in 10 years time. What is clf? First it was just an iron ore mining company, then acquired AK steel, and has become the 2nd largest US steel producer. In early 2026 they will have their first transformer plant operational. Ceo has said this will not be a one off scenerio. All transformers use grain oriented electric steel (Goes). What is the only company that makes this steel domestically? That's right clf. Clf has fueled growth by acquiring and becoming more and more vertically integrated which gives them a competitive advantage over their peers. Usa wants to start building more ships domestically, which should increase demand for steel. But not all steel is created equal and clf happens to be one of the steel companies that produce the steel required. --- Bull case: They stop be only viewed as just a steel company and they continue to expand and grow their transformer bussiness or whatever else they decide to vertically integrate. P/E ratio of tranformers companies in America (2) are 25-28. Tranformers are 80% imported currently in usa. Lead times of 50 weeks to 210 weeks depending on size of transformers. Steel prices rebound due to tarrifs The USA starts opening new ship building capability which increases demand for domestic steel Infrastructure revamp will need more tranformers and steel in general Bear case: Over reliance on usa auto 33% of their revenue, which is why I think they are looking for other uses for their steel. Foreign investors opening up steel plants increases competition often susbsizdized by their governments. Highly cyclical bussiness atm
