Philosophy today: Trading vs Investing. The conceptual difference between these two is that a Trader uses his own Mass to gravitate other's mass to it, exponentially in the process. An Investor instead accepts a moral contract to private itself of buying power to obtain more later (🇮🇱 shehanigans if you ask me) or/and achieving a goal in the process (vision). It seems small, but for me it's a life sentence: as a trader i have certainty and i feel it morally better, to be doing my own work, also i'm not really participating into a system i believe to be fundamentally corrupt. Many times we are seen as money hungry leeches, when we (Traders) are actually brain Athletes, same as Chess or Poker pros. I'm not saying all investing "is bad", surely at scale it's the only way to power up others, just as of now i see also that field not in its brightest light. An old saying fits: "No instrument can sound good, if its musician sucks".

If you hate trading, you should not be doing it :)

@iamdisplacement Advice: You got no real edge and risk management is off. Edge = you start feeling that you produce flow, and know PERFECTLY why. Risk = compounded loss streaks don't even touch half your wins. Work harder and be truthful, if too much work or BETTER you dont love It, QUIT.

@The_Long_Bull Discretionary traders share all sorts in pods. That's literally what pods are for. You get tight with a handful of people you trust and you discuss stuff, share stuff and trade together. What's surprising about that?

The best way to know if someone's legit is to trade with them every day, discussing entries, exits, sharing charts etc. If you ask to see the P&L of all their trades and they produce it immediately, and it lines up with everything they said, you can't really fake that. That gets shared, and it's why nobody thinks EE is fake even though what he's accomplished is about as likely as getting your dick chopped off by a meteor.
