I’m looking over my expenses from the last few months and my mouth dropped open! Turns out that traveling, making your house more functional, and acquiring new hobbies is expensive! Someone tell me why I shouldn’t only eat ramen noodles for the next several months…

@LucyCrabKC Yes! It’s beautiful here. Slow paced, but enough going on so it’s not boring. And I love my church community. I also have (now 2) college friends who live close, which is the best.

I moved the tv out of my room so I’d go to sleep at a respectable hour. So, of course, now I just sit in the living room watching tv until midnight.

@JBsTwoCents I guess it may depend on context. However, generally speaking, I don’t find it intrusive. I’m single. I expect people to ask if I’m dating, etc.

Curious how my single friends feel about this? I never took (or intend) that question as intrusive, but I can understand how it can feel that way. Also yes please let's talk honestly about marriage and parenting with our single people!

Wow just wow. I wouldn’t even buy these for my daughter when she was little. Can you say painful? I didn’t even know they made them for adults. And what in the whole wide world makes them think I’d want some?

@LauraRbnsn Recently switched churches. Joined a small group. Invited them over. In addition to small group, some of us hang out at least once every weekend now.

How did you make your last IRL friend? Let’s crowd source friend making ideas, I keep hearing that no one has friends and some of this is clearly easier for some people than others.

Against my better judgment, decided to try online dating again. First match asks ‘are you thin?’ And…delete. I’ll stay single, thanks.

@AymieJoi @stenersonMN I have 2 dogs and I LOVE IT. They entertain each other, so it actually makes things easier. They are best buds. Yes, it’s double food/treats/vet costs, but worth it IMO. I mean, LOOK AT THEM!
