Thats it. Tow "vehicle" ripped off a rear bumper.... so in 2027 we will be required a SOLID STEEL rear bumper. A year ago we were disallowed ALUMINUM front bumpers.... mainly because were trying to be lazy... towing a car. All we did was penalize a fat guy...

@Stevenlinder312 @MikeLinder312 @WorldofOutlaws FWIW, the axle is 1 of 4 problems that’s influencing failures. A steel axle isn’t a bad idea. I’m not sure it could overcome the other 3 problems.

Question for my racing friends. With rear axles breaking more often, what if the solution was to implement a steel axle rule by 2028. But instead of prohibiting aluminum axles, require cars that choose to run the aluminum axle weigh 50-75 lbs more. @MikeLinder312 @WorldofOutlaws

@ripjetson9 They have a gun drilled and tubular. Curious which it was. Gundrilled is now called LWHD supposed to be much stronger but who knows. $500 more per axle

@ripjetson9 This place needs tractor tires to make a racetrack. Infield racing ruins it. Dusty crap across the whole track. However at the rate of the mistakes this evening we would see a few on the racetrack. Good reminder to always watch the video before actions as well.

What the hell happened at Senoia while I was watching Placerville?! I turned on @FloRacing to a trillion people surrounding the 32

@dannydietrich I presented a tether that would not fail connecting both front mounts with fuel safe being the supplier about 10 years ago. That was obviously shut down as well.

So in January of 2025 we were told we are going to need 6 mounting points on a fuel cell in 2026. In February of 2025 I showed up with the newly designed tether (below) to Volusia and was told the tether system was not going to be allowed, and was actually not allowed on the car due to not being an approved @WorldofOutlaws part. The reasoning was that Tom D had seen silver crown cars split tanks in half with a TWO tether system that had a thin center. (Keep in mind those are hugeeee fuel cells, like 75 gallon.) Fast forward to October 21st. @WorldofOutlaws still have not publicly come out and said how we are supposed to add the 2 extra said mounting points. We have a few designs to look at but nothing saying this or that. I have reached out to quite a few higher ups that don't see the issue regarding updated tether system with a thicker center, a third tether pulling down, and being made from titanium. I am in no way affiliated with Greber other then im trying to come up with something better than what has been presented to us. When I see the rendering of the tabs on the front of the cell... I have a ton of questions like "are we going to continue to rely on how big the fender washer is behind that plastic" or do we really think we can't pull that nut through the slot of the plate? We're also still relying on plastic that is ONLY 1/8" THICK! Also, are these tech officials, @HighLimitRacing included, really actually gonna look to see if they are properly mounted, or even there, behind panels, behind a seat, unders seat belts, and so on. Probably not. It all just gets old. So much tunnel vision. So much bullshit that goes on, on this side of racing. This stuff should have been figured out the week after the Knoxville National (after the safety meeting) And dont get me started on the @HoosierTire Racing tire tests that have been going on.

Had a much better night going that unfortunately ended short with a motor issue.Qual p5,P2 heat ,P5 dash.Moving forward after a rough start to the race running 8th.We are defiantly happy with the speed for limited schedule run.Thank you again El Toro Building Supply. 🚀
