@repTILLYan Yeah, but really good teams won’t lose in round 1 every year, 4 years straight. Not to mention, the Bolts have won like 2 home games over those 4 years. Simply inexcusable.

Stop all the "first round exits" crap. They lost to a 106 point team this season They lost to a 111 Point Toronto team in 2023 And twice to the Stanley Cup Champs in '24 and '25...Good teams will lose in Rd 1 because Gary Bettman created the dumbest seeding format in pro sports

Jon Cooper on this year’s #GoBolts team “This team was different. They deserve better than what’s happening to them. It’s too bad, because of how hard they worked and committed and just did everything we asked, and then to go out.. This was that team. They just went out with their heart on their sleeves and gave everything they possibly could, and we just came up short.”

@zerohedge Retail has been the new smart money for the past several years. Just buy every dip and remaining long on leverage as much as possible.

@TKras Bad bounce, but sometimes you get what you deserve. Had possession in their zone and should’ve got the puck out more than once.

“At some point you reach a point of no return where re-opening of Strait is too late to avoid shifting inflation/interest rate expectations. That is now probably a matter of weeks away. This realization could provide the pretext for stocks to retest lows.” - Connor Broadley

@Norseman1 Lots of people think they’re smarter than they really are. The reality is, equity markets have been nationalized for some time now & all one had to do was realize this in order to make easy profits. Being long nationalized markets is the dumbest smart move in financial history.

@Antho_Martineau That’s your complaint and not the fact that Tampa scored essentially 3 on 4 inside the Montreal zone? You’re an idiot.

Ok. Je ne suis VRAIMENT pas un adepte des crises d’injustice. Mais est-ce moi qui est débile de voir un FLAGRANT call d’obstruction MANQUÉ ici sur Dach quelques secondes avant le but gagnant?

This level of complacency is dangerous. Saying that there is ‘no reason to be bearish’ shows he hasn’t learned that the market can humble all. I imagine there are lots of traders feeling this way after a 12.6% $SPX straight up move in 30 days. But this is precisely when the masses get rugged. Perma bears & bulls eventually get humbled by the market. Sad that followers of this analysis also meet the same fate.

I guess the Tampa Bay Lightning get to play with a different rule book. They got away with an interference on the OT winner last night. But when a similar situation happened to them against the Toronto Maple Leafs in game 7, they called back the goal and interference was called. I don’t like complaining about the refs, but there needs to be a standard of consistency.

@TheH0n3stTrader Shut up, lying loser. No trader makes a set amount every year, whether 65K, 650K or 6.5MM. There is way too much variance in trading from year to year to make such an asinine claim.

My friend makes $650,000 a year trading. I asked him for the #1 piece of advice he'd give me. He said ''Take 2 insanely good trades a month. Bet the farm on them.'' Dude, I take 20 trades a month. This dude takes 2 and makes a lot more than I make. I trade for 2 hours a day. He trades for 2 hours a month. I've been doing it wrong this whole time.

THE STOCK MARKET IS DOING THE UNTHINKABLE RIGHT IN FRONT OF US 84% of companies beating EPS 81% beating revenue And people are still calling for a crash. Read that again. This is not a weak market being propped up by hype. This is a market being driven by REAL earnings strength. When profits are this strong, prices HAVE a reason to go higher. That is how markets work over time. Everyone wants to fight the move because it feels too fast. But the reality is simple EPS is strong & share prices will follow that in the long run. Will we get pullbacks? Of course But the floor is rising underneath you while you wait

If you bought the S&P in late 2024 betting on 8-10% returns, you're about to lose a decade of your financial life. Billionaire investor Howard Marks on the JP Morgan chart everyone's ignoring: At the end of 2024, the S&P was at a P/E of 23. Historically, every single time the market hits a P/E of 23, the next 10 years returned between 2% and -2% annualized. NO exceptions. What this means: if you invested $100K at the end of 2024, by 2034 you'll have between $82K and $122K. Best case (2% annualized): you barely beat inflation Worst case (-2% annualized): you lose 18% of your money Either way, high-yield savings beats your "aggressive" portfolio This isn't a bearish prediction. It's a historical certainty based on the price you chose to pay. @thesamparr @ShaanVP
