Everybody’s talking about Arsenal nobody is talking about Man City having a lot of pressure on them. Also they’re the Home team. They are the ones that are chasing. They’re the ones that are six points behind. They’re the ones that have the most pressure.

💣🚨 | LA LIGA MIGHT SANCTION LIONEL MESSI’S PURCHASE OF UE CORNELLÁ. Following Lionel Messi’s purchase of the Spanish team, LaLiga have warned him that the club could not play in Primera División due to a conflict of interest. Arguments have been made that under no circumstances can two clubs with the same owner compete in the same league (Real Madrid and UE Cornellà). More to follow 👀

Only three players in the world are valued at €200 million: Haaland, Mbappé, and Lamine Yamal. The crucial difference is that he is 18 years old. He has arrived at a valuation that took others the peak of their careers to reach, and he has not yet got there. Not by a mile. Let me tell you about Lamine Yamal and his push for a comeback against Atletico de Madrid.

Lamine should learn how to pass the ball man. You’re not Messi. You can’t be driving all balls from mid line

It's crazy despite Yamal being so good there are some flaws in his game. He often gets overcrowded because he holds onto the ball for too long. This Roony guy created a perfect goal scoring opportunity for Araujo. There are many instances where he can release the ball a bit quicker. It's easy to scapegoat his teammates since Ferran is already very hated. He's still 18 and developing but he really needs to work on few aspects. Great players always tried to grow. If Barca fans already put Yamal above the club they'll suffer more in future. They must let him evolve.

@kwakuasanteb That's one way of looking at it. You can also connect tine what has been working in the opening 30mins and try and get the 3rd which barca should have through fermin and then bi pragmatic. Let's be honest here before atl goal dey offered no threat.

Charley, you guys, no one is saying Flick didn't outcoach Simeone but at the end of the day we lost over two legs because our coach who is supposed to be better did not make the right decisions and wasn't pragmatic. You go into an away game in a crucial UCL tie which you need at least two goals - you get those two goals in the first 30 minutes, were a bit wasteful too but still two goals in the first half. This is where you sit a bit deep, rest on the ball and keep your two goals going into the first half - but no, we were still playing so high on the pitch so they catch us on the break and boom we are back in the deficit. That's 100% on the coach Same high line that led to Eric Garcia chasing Sorloth and getting a red card. These are coaching issues, we all love Flick but sometimes his decision making has been very suspect
Islam Bouafif 🇹🇳🇵🇸@BouafifNour

I understand that people get emotional after this cruel eliminations but guys can we be a little bit realistic here, you really can’t put blame on Flick for this tie. He outcoached Simeone in the first leg, even while playing an entire half with 10 men. And in the second leg, where do you even start? Flick basically set the team up for a 4–1 or 5–1 win in the first half, the game should’ve been over from there, but it’s not his fault the players couldn’t finish their chances. Maybe the second-half subs weren’t perfect, especially taking Ferran off, but once the red card happened, I don’t think it would’ve changed much anyway. Eric completely killed our chances there. And even after that, Flick still tried to find solutions, pushing Araújo up as a second striker and shifting Roony to the right with Lamine moving central. Those changes got us that last chance for Araujo, and yet again, we missed an easy opportunity. Seriously, what more is he supposed to do, go out there and score himself?

One of the arguments Madrid fans often use to push the Negreira narrative is the idea that in the modern era, Madrid have had more success in the Champions League compared to La Liga, while for us it’s the opposite. But in reality, this difference is actually connected to the nature of both clubs. Barcelona are built around control, structure, and clear patterns of play. That kind of football is designed to produce consistency over a long league season, however, in the UCL, especially in KOS, everything can come down to isolated moments, one mistake, one bad half, one off night and you're out regardless of how consistent you were. Madrid, in contrast, are less dependent on clear structures and thrive more on chaos. That can sometimes lead to inconsistency over a long league season, but it also increases their ability to produce decisive moments in UCL KOS. Instead of being consistently dominant throughout the season, they often peak later, at the most crucial stage. You could clearly see that in seasons they won the UCL and failed in La Liga like 2016 or 2018. Ultimately, it’s not about referees, Negreira, or external narratives. It’s about how footballing identities naturally translate differently across competitions.

🚨 Historical decision by Union Berlin as German club appoint Marie-Louise Eta as their head coach until June. Union lost at Heidenheim, sacked the head coach Steffen Baumgart and put Marie-Louise Eta in charge until the end of the season. Ets becomes the first female head coach in the history of men’s Bundesliga.

So let’s get this straight… If missing a final = you didn’t win the UCL, then: Xavi (2006) ❌ Alessandro Nesta (2007) ❌ Gary Neville (2008) ❌ Dani Alves (2009) ❌ Thiago Motta (2010) ❌ Thiago Alcantara (2011) ❌ John Terry (2012) ❌ Toni Kroos doesn’t have 6 UCLs… he “missed” 2013 ❌ Xabi Alonso (2014) ❌ Thomas Vermaelen (2015) ❌ Raphael Varane (2016) ❌ Pepe (2017) ❌ Mateo Kovacic (2018) ❌ Naby Keita (2019) ❌ Jerome Boateng (2020) ❌ Olivier Giroud (2021) ❌ Gareth Bale / Eden Hazard (2022) ❌ Riyad Mahrez (2023) ❌ Arda Guler (2024) ❌ Presnel Kimpembe (2025) ❌ They should all return their medals then… right? 🤔
