A 20-year-old former student, Victor Hawkins, walked into the school armed with two loaded pistols, ordered students to the ground, and tried to carry out a Columbine-style massacre. He attempted to shoot a student, gun malfunctioned. Fixed it, fired again and missed. That’s when the principal charged straight at the gunman like a warrior. Hawkins shot him in the leg. The principal didn’t stop, he tackled the shooter, wrestled the gun away, and pinned him down on a couch until police arrived. Thanks to his insane bravery and quick action, zero students were hurt. The principal is now recovering at home in stable condition. He credited his training, instincts, and “God’s hands.” The suspect studied the Columbine shooting and told investigators he wanted to “kill the school’s principal” and carry out his own massacre. He’s now facing serious charges, including shooting with intent to kill. Bail set at $1 million. This is what real courage and leadership looks like. Real American HERO!
