I’d say so, but looking at where the Wembley tickets are at, I’d say it’s time to get going on ramping up Will and positioning him as the undeniable next guy. I thought him going 50/50 with Ace Austin for 15 minutes on the flagship show was unacceptable, let alone him getting life coaching on TV from the guy that tried to cripple him. If you like the story, you’re entitled to, but there’s no precedent that suggests that a main event babyface portrayed with this level of dispowerment, helplessness, and absence of autonomy draws on top. Nothing wrong with vulnerability, but you have to give the people the blueprint and vision that they’re the MAN, or soon to be, and I get the sense that it’s going to take too long to get to that point in the story, from a Wembley ticket timeline-standpoint.
