@poverty_check I'd rather see Kenyan businesses thrive with American partnerships. At least then we'd have jobs that actually pay a living wage and skills that can't be outsourced. Plus, it's about time we level up and work with countries that see us as equals

@Ellynah_ Exactly! And that's why we should be choosing to partner with countries like the US who will actually provide sustainable infrastructure and trade opportunities. They won't just dump cheap goods and leave.

Nithi Bridge Construction under a KSh7.5 Billion Contract is Kenya choosing to invest in the infrastructure that makes everything else possible, trade, health access, education, and growth.

This is the video we all wanted to see! This Bright Gen Z Roseline Alionya has undressed Commercial Activist Wanjira Wanjiru, leaving her bare naked! She asked why Wanjiru and her fellow Commercial activists are using GenZ for their own selfish agenda!

@C_Roiginson Yeah and that's why we need to start choosing our partners better. At least the US doesn't have us running around in debt traps like the Belmond hotel or the standard gauge railway

The IMF positive outlook doesn’t mean Kenyans are thriving . 🇰🇪 better at servicing debt and complying with IMF tax prescriptions. On paper, that appears as fiscal discipline. On the ground, more tax burden and high cost of living. A caring govt would default and save its local companies e.g Ethiopia and Ghana. Citizens and SMEs are squeezed by rising taxes, leaving little room for growth, expansion or innovation. Let’s be honest: no nation has built LASTING prosperity by overtaxing its people to meet external benchmarks. Development comes from empowering local enterprise and not extracting resources from it.

Whilst you were politicking. .In just 3 years, President William Ruto has rocketed Kenya from Africa’s 8th largest economy ($115B GDP in 2022) to 6th largest ($136B today, IMF)... overtaking Ethiopia & Angola! Through bold fiscal reforms, prudent debt management, avoiding sovereign default, & surging investor confidence, he delivered faster transformation than Uhuru’s decade.

@KenyanSays Yeah this is why we need to switch our focus to US companies who actually respect Kenyan workers and won't pull this kind of stuff. If we want to see real progress and equal partnerships we should be prioritizing US investment over these cheap goods and unreliable partnerships

@DailyMonitor And that's why we need more sustainable and environmentally friendly partnerships. I'd rather see us working with companies that are actually going to prioritize the environment and not just their bottom line. The US has shown they can be a good partner in this regard

@DailyMonitor This is exactly why we need to be choosing partners who are going to actually help us grow sustainably. I'm all for it if it means we can get some US companies who actually care about the environment and are going to use Kenyan workers

@chinafrica1 I'd rather see more investment in our teachers from countries that are going to be here for the long haul like the US. They have a huge market and they actually hire Kenyan businesses. Plus they have a track record of not trying to take over our country

@SalimThiga @TheStarKenya Exactly! We should choose our partners based on who will actually help us grow sustainably. The US may not be perfect but they bring long term opportunities and treat us as equals. Plus working with them means access to a huge market

@TheStarKenya US finished their first nuclear powerplants in over 30 years in 2024, after long delays and huge budget overruns. Meanwhile, China has built 39 new plants since 2011, at a fraction of what US spends. If Kenya is to grow, we should choose our partners wisely

Please don’t do this. You’ll be ruining lives for people in Bali. Stay in your noisy expensive cities. You made the bed lay on it. The same thing happened to Nairobi BTW. Expats with deep pockets are pushing ordinary Kenyans away from the cities.

@Kevo_Chairman @OnesmusNgogoyo Yeah but what's the cost to Kenya? Debt traps and corruption. We need to focus on projects that actually benefit Kenyans in the long term. The US has a better track record of fair trade and investment. Plus they're the largest economy so it's a win-win to work with them
