It is not a war crime to target infrastructure that has dual civilian/military uses. That includes most roads, power plants, bridges. If targeting those were a war crime then the Allies should never have fought the Nazis. You are effectively siding with Nazis if you accuse Trump.

Absolutely agreed. The thought process around the program is very sound but like many things, it has been hijacked and corrupted to make a few connected individuals ultra wealthy at the expense of ordinary people. This is a failure of the implementation by the inept and corrupt people (ANC) entrusted with its implementation. Objectively speaking though, the quality of life of the vast majority of previously disadvantaged people has substantially improved over the last 30yrs from an access to education, economic activity, freedom of movement , access to basic services etc etc, there’s no denying that. If you already had access to these things pre -1994, the last 30 yrs might feel like regression
