@dada606666667 @AmericaPapaBear People with the opposite political views of mine tend to be insufferable.

@krassenstein @Weightgainclyde Also it only makes sense that violent crime is up under Trump. He ran on law and order. If a president is tough on crime than he is going to prosecute more people.
English

@Weightgainclyde At the end of the day those states are Republican run.
In actuality the issues are so much more complicated than either side wants to admit, and if we stopped politicizing it all we could find solutions. FYI Violent Crime was higher under Trump.
English

@krassenstein @Weightgainclyde Do you know how jurisdiction works? Typically cities regulate themselves. The state legislature doesn’t have a large impact on how violent the city is. I’m not blaming either side but this is way more complicated as you said.
English

@krassenstein I hate talking politics but this is not a good answer. Cities and states are not the same thing. I’m not taking a side because there aren’t a lot of
Republican cities to even compare it too. A state being Republican doesn’t mean the city is. This is completely non-sense.

@PamKeithFL It will just drive prices up 25k. Every house just became 25k more valuable over night. Homeowners going to ask for 25k more. Also all those hedgefunds that already bought homes now see their assets appreciate by 25k. Rich got richer.

@CollinRugg @RedsRepair95 This is what happens when you let kids get away with wearing crocks in PE. Slippery slope
English

@RedsRepair95 Yeah, it really is a sad story and I have sympathy for the guy but at the end of the day, it's a really simple but brutal case of FAFO.

NEW: Man who tried running from police after stealing a car speaks out after filing a $100,000,000 lawsuit after he was left paralyzed from being tased.
27-year-old Jacob Root is now a quadriplegic after getting tased by Colorado Springs police officer Robert Comstock.
Root's lawyers say that he broke his neck from the fall when being tased.
Colorado Springs police have exonerated Officer Comstock of any wrongdoing and are standing by him: "Officer Comstock is a valued employee and is in good standing with the department."
Root says he has no independence and relies on others to feed him.
"That officer pretty much made a choice for me to be a prisoner in my body," Root said.

@PeterSchiff Aren’t you seeing same thing is gold and gold miners? Maybe both are affected by high energy costs?

Why are the #Bitcoin miners so weak again? They are getting killed even as Bitcoin is up big and other Bitcoin related stocks are hitting record highs. If I was long Bitcoin I would be worried about this divergence. It could be a sign of trouble ahead for Bitcoin itself.

@Tennesseine 1st two points = contradiction? I live in NY. Upstate is red w/ looser gun laws than NYC. NYC has strict laws. Gun advocates would say guns don’t prevent deaths. Guns allows law abiding citizens to defend themselves. When you take guns away from people they can’t defend theirself
English

Murder rate for NY state: 4.8 per 100k.
Murder rate for NY City 5.3 per 100k.
Murder rate across the US: 5.5 per 100k.
Murder rate for Texas: 8.2 per 100k.
Murder rate for Mississippi: 23.7 per 100k.
But tell us again how safe red states are, #MAGA. 🤡
