43 year old guy here. It definitely wasn't. I saw it in theaters. Everyone loved it, and Pitt especially. He was widely praised at the time for his performance in the role. He had a brooding intensity that really captured the essence of Achilles, and his physical performance in combat was excellent. Very convincing. I'm hardly alone in this view. Everything about Troy was better than this new Odyssey disaster: from casting to clothing.

At a work function tonight and something struck me. Much more so than being handsome, being charming is much more powerful to the fairer sex than anything else. A mix of flattery, swagger and self deprecation really seems to drop panties. I watched a younger woman co-worker shift that look in the eyes, move toward that sparkle where you know their mind is really going through it. Of course I didn’t follow up…I’m a happily married guy but nice to remember how easy it is. That and these young guys must be autistic clowns…how they’re not pulling major Staceys is beyond me…I guess its true, they really love Snorlax more than pussy.

There are many minor victories to be sure, like the Supreme Court dismantling the Indian trucking scheme, border wall, Ice contracts, more (new) costs on Visas, etc But The reason that US State outlets post about Remigration is that they are worried about widespread Radicalization. The same reason Israel is pushing to end their $48b aid deal, although they will obviously just get investment in some other way. They are doing it for their own good. This government isn’t doing it Becuase it’s now *fully* Right wing and they are fixing the problems forever, they just want to ensure there’s peace and stability. If there wasn’t recourse for change- or the idea of it- then people would be desperate and fanatic.
