My thoughts on markets My brother @Cryptoinsightuk shared his latest newsletter with me and asked for my thoughts. We spoke about these topics in person; I highly value his opinion and his reasoning is logical and backed by data. I find it fascinating though, that with the same logical thinking and looking at the same set of data, I am rather bearish, while he is bullish. I am sure you have experienced similar things when talking to friends and family about the current state of markets and geopolitics. I am not yet sure what to make of the Trump - Xi meeting just yet, but I was reading up on how the CCP allowed Chinese media to mock the Trump online. Investments, tariffs, Taiwan, Hormuz, and a lot of things were discussed that we know little about. All these things impact global markets. There is hope of resolution on many fronts, but not much more. If you follow my account, my reasoning is that stonks are out of control and a few big players are carrying the broader market. That is not a healthy sign. Gov bond yields have surged, another sign of growing mistrust towards this administration and a sign that other gov's are selling US bonds and buying gold instead, preparing for a post USD denominated era. Trump, Bessent, Warsh, or anyone in fact can only calm markets as much as they have the credibility to do so. Credibility is earned through independence, a thing Bessent lacks and Warsh is yet to prove. Germany, the European Union's economic engine, is basically in its third recession year back to back to back. I don't know what will happen short term, I have said that over and over again, and I prefer to be early rather than getting rekt by surprise. Maybe our different interpretations root from how we look at the data; I am not a day trader, in fact, I barely trade. I research, I buy and hodl. This strategy has multiplied my wealth and I am sticking to it, while I also have smaller, more degen style wallets. So my thinking is backed more by history and the thought leadership of someone like Ray Dalio or Warren Buffett, and if you look at the bigger picture, things do not look bright. We are overdue for a financial reset of the whole system. A new Bretton Woods. The signs of excess are abundant if you know how to spot them. I do not wish for bearish times; I am passively invested holding spot, avoiding leverage in these markets, and I know from history that such a reset comes without announcements. My family has lost it all several times trusting their own government in times of despair, during the Weimar inflation and during the Spanish Civil War. So my advice if you read this far would be this: Intentionally play mental gymnastics and talk to people with differing opinions and interpretations of the same events. Allow your mind to explore potentialities and figure out avenues to overcome any hurdle. If you do that repeatedly, nothing will catch you by surprise and you will be ready for whatever is coming. And the best part is, if I am wrong and markets turn bullish for years, you still multiply your wealth. So instead of retard risk maxing, understand risk and hedge accordingly at times where fundamentals don't make much sense anymore. Typing all of this, I feel somehow like a younger self talking to my father, trying to prove my point backed by a ton of data and experts. My dad smiled and said, 'I do not need experts, I know history.' History has proven him right.

I have never seen anything like this. I was there at 6 AM with 500+ people already ahead of me in line. The watch sold out in 5 minutes. There were only 150 pieces at the biggest Swatch store in SEA. Right after it sold out, it felt like buying NFTs on OpenSea all over again. I paid $1,400 for a $400 watch, and later started getting $2,500 offers the moment they announced it was sold out. The two colors with crown at 3 is selling way higher. Blue was insta out of stock so had to settle for yellow. I was just offered $3000, should I flip it ?
