The UK has officially recognised Homophobia/Anti-LGBTQ+Crimes as an aggravated offence with longer prison sentences.
Under the Crime and Policing Act 2026, which received Royal Assent on 29 April 2026, such offences now carry enhanced penalties matching those for race or religion-based crimes, with longer sentences and no six-month investigation limit.

TMZ reports Brit is scoffing at Bravo's claim the contract she signed bars her from being allowed to sue them. The producers told Brit she was not victimized & was warned being on Housewives means she would be exposed to “stressful or emotionally challenging” situations & she nevertheless agreed to sign up for the show.
In new court documents, Brit said the contract she signed did not cover what happened to her, insisting there was no way she could have foreseen what Kenya was going to do. She also claims Bravo told her she could come back for Season 17, under the condition she would have to keep working with Kenya.
A source close to TMZ says Brit was never asked back for Season 17, Brit argued no one has ever done anything like Kenya did on ‘RHOA’ & the cast was shocked by the poster-boards.
Bravo has denied they were responsible for any alleged harm & filed a motion to dismiss Brit’s case, which is still ongoing. #RHOA
