@HELLSBELLS828 @ChelsElaina If that's brought up and not dismissed, the people are the problem, not the money. My wife made 5x more than me the majority of the time. We are married 20 years, have 2 teenage boys, she is retired and I'm still working. And our life together is awesome.

@ChelsElaina I just think it’d be a problem sooner or later. It sounds like a perfect life, but eventually it’ll be brought up in an argument

@Michael_Nania Personally, I would love for the NFL to have a fall and a spring season of 12 games each plus playoffs and have real competitive games all year round. Sure, it's not realistic, but man would that be great... 4 months on, 2 months off, 4 months on, 2 months off.

When it's just 1 MNF and 1 TNF game, I am more than happy to make an effort to watch those games. Or even 3 Thanksgiving games. But as we start getting to 2 MNFs, Saturday thrown in there, & random holidays like "Thanksgiving eve", I personally just won't be as inclined to watch.

Look, I know many people are more than happy to watch the NFL every day, and that's perfectly fine! Personally, though, I enjoy the scarcity of prime-time games & how it makes them feel like BIG, must-watch events; it's something other sports don't have. That is getting diluted.

@JJWatt Assuming the money in some way, shape or form goes to employees, I tip. But I don't think you have to do so. And it wouldn't matter if the establishment paid its workers well. I'm thankful I can afford to be generous, despite not being rich.

Genuine question on a restaurant situation: You walk up to a counter to order. You find your own table and seat yourself. If you order coffee, they hand you a cup and you go fill it up yourself. If you order food, they hand you a buzzer and when it goes off, you go pick it up yourself. The iPad has a “20%, 25%, 30%, Other” tip option, with 20% already preselected. What’s your move?

@snowsk88 @unlimited_ls Honestly, I don't know. And I don't claim to be law enforcement or know what to do in those situations. But I'd like to think longer is more likely to result in a better outcome. A man is dead because that last officer decided it was go time after arriving 30 seconds earlier

@damienwoody No FA QB this offseason moves the needle. Add to improved OL and fortify defense at all 3 levels. With time to throw Geno is competent. Find stud WR in draft and now you can think about Wild Card. But really, this is about preparing for drafting QB next year @Metstradamus

@snowsk88 @unlimited_ls Was the only option shoot him in short span of time? Original officers had deescalated it but then Rambo comes in walks up screaming then gives him countdown like he had no alternatives. Would love to know where in training manual it tells officer to approach situation that way

It’s funny how they target the police for shooting him dead. I worked in the mental health facilities. Listen to me, when somebody is in a state of psychosis like that, schizophrenia, or whatever that person has. They are not going to drop that knife. So what do you do stand there for hours on end until he finally gives up. What are you gonna do shoot a dart atom with the medicine to knock him out. Now he’s wielding a knife with a mental health issue. What are you gonna do when he’s swinging it and slice it and dicing people. There’s no other alternative. You people are morons; then you blame the cops like a bunch of fucking idiots.

And we've reached rock bottom... considering tanking for a QB who has plenty of hype but is a better runner than a passer @Metstradamus
Sam@SDE1717

@Michael_Nania Aaron Glenn led team isn’t sniffing anything close to a wildcard. Even if Patty Mahomes was QB. Jets better off tanking for Arch and a new coach. Bring me Geno and Wentz!!!

@Michael_Nania Agree Geno and Wentz aren't worth anything. But have you watched much tape of Murray? He can't or won't throw on time. His best plays are off schedule. It's feast or famine and he made it clear he won't change. I wouldn't want him

"Targeting" Geno/Wentz while Kyler is out there for the cheap doesn't make sense to me unless tanking is the goal. Toss Murray 10M to convince him to come to you instead of going to Minnesota for the minimum. At least make a serious effort. Murray + this D could compete for a WC

Imagine using this story to explain Trump’s character, without mentioning how he learned to grift, lie, sexually harass women and con people.

Love this❤️ Some of the most valuable lessons we learn in life come from our parents. This was shared by Garvit on FB. 🚨TODAY I don't understand why Trump, despite being a billionaire, still behaves like this. What if I told you that the billionaire President of the United States does something every single morning that he refuses to let ANYONE help him with - something his father taught him over 60 years ago that he’s NEVER stopped doing, and the reason why is going to teach you what real character looks like. Every single morning for the past 60+ YEARS, Donald Trump personally shines his own shoes. Not his staff. Not hotel services. Not shoe shiners. TRUMP himself. With his own hands. His own polish. His own time. White House staff offered countless times: “Mr. President, we can shine your shoes for you.” Trump’s response every time: “NO. My father taught me when I was a boy: A man shines his own shoes. It builds CHARACTER. It reminds you that no matter how successful you become, you’re not above basic discipline.” Think about this: Trump has been shining his own shoes since he was a CHILD in the 1950s. Through building his empire. Through becoming a billionaire. Through becoming PRESIDENT. Still. Every. Morning. Shining his own shoes. Staff members have witnessed this routine: Trump wakes up, and before important meetings, before presidential briefings, before running the country - he sits down with shoe polish and brush and shines his own dress shoes. “My father said: ‘The day you’re too important to shine your own shoes is the day you’ve lost your character.’ I never forgot that.” For over SIX DECADES, Trump has honored his father’s teaching. 60+ years of daily discipline that nobody photographs, nobody praises, nobody even knows about. Just a son keeping a promise to his father: “I’ll never be too big to do this myself.” Here’s what this proves: True character isn’t built in big moments - it’s built in small, daily disciplines you maintain for DECADES even when nobody’s watching. 😭👞🇺🇸 Drop 👞 if Trump’s 60-year discipline inspires you. Comment: What did YOUR father/mother teach you that you still do? Share so people see: character = daily habits. Follow if father’s lessons = lifetime commitments. Trump’s polish = 60-y
