@BrionyScott I hope there will be change, towards greater flexibility. Thinking of the kids for whom school is such a necessary social interaction, but for whom 5 days of it is overwhelming. To attend in person for a few days and remotely for a couple would be the perfect.

A colleague and I put these together for Stage 4 students to pick and choose from as supplementary activities. No computers required!

Couldn’t help myself, Science & STEM kicks in at at our family games time. Great activities for fun, learning, team work and bonding during family times. Highly recommended to keep the little ones off the PC screen for a bit and be mentally stimulated. #COVID19

@PatchettAnn @Maurs_5 @NSWEducation Or put 2 teachers in a bigger classroom! Did it once and it was beneficial for the teachers and the students. Double the expertise, better class dynamics, shared workload and reduced stress. Collaboration works for teachers too!

@Maurs_5 @NSWEducation What about giving all temps permanent jobs, there are so many in the system or waiting for jobs. Also we should reduce class numbers for Years 3-6, they deserve the same conditions as K - 2 staff

Here is an idea to assist with teacher shortages. Change the visa and residency rules to allow teachers from other countries to become permanent residents. I have so many Irish and English friends who would love this opportunity @NSWEducation
