Results from the FURCA-trial suggest that patient-led follow-up (FU) after rectal cancer provides an acceptable and more tailored approach.
We saw no effect on quality of life, although patient-led FU may improve satisfaction and involvement

Bowel dysfunction is common after whole pelvic radiotherapy for prostate cancer. A recently published Danish paper underlines the importance of monitoring long term sequelae with PROs in follow up after cancer treatment. Congrats to the authors.
