@Xuanathame Another game that lets you do this is Code Vein 1 with the Final Journey skill. It gives you massively increased damage, dodge speed, and fully heals you... but it kills you after like a minute. Though if you kill the boss you are fighting you survive! "You need to be stopped!"

You may not like it but THIS is how you're supposed to play Souls games.

@Helldivers_NOW Technically though, since every act in the game is canon: there is one Super Destroyer sending down a Helldiver delivering all these items, and then just... dying? One-way mailman? Actually what does happen in-universe when a player lags out and can't come back?

@AshenOne It's sad, but I have absolutely zero faith that they wouldn't censor literally everything. Less blood, less lustful acts, less passionate hate, changing major story events to appeal to a more sensitive modern audience. We've seen it time and time again and I'm tired of it.

PlayStation would seriously mess up if they tone down the original God of War games in the God of War Trilogy Remake. The mature content and graphic violence were never random. They defined Kratos and the brutal world he came from. The Greek era was chaotic, violent, and unforgiving. That intensity is what makes his later transformation powerful. If the remakes soften that foundation, the entire character arc loses weight. A remake should modernize visuals and gameplay, not censor the themes that shaped the series. The brutality showed the consequences of Kratos’ rage and the cruelty of the gods he fought. This also includes the smaller details that built the tone of the original trilogy. Removing or sanitizing those elements would shift the identity of the Greek era in a way that feels disconnected from what the series originally stood for. Changing that tone now would misrepresent the Greek saga to new players and erase what made those games iconic in the first place. Respecting the tone of the originals is the foundation of Kratos’ entire journey.
