The fact that everyone is pissed about is at bare minimum we already need RW,LW,DM,CF(loan) and then we send Konate for free.
These two better get their act together because we definitely need a CB now as well. That’s 5 positions that need numbers, let’s talk quality later.

This is also due to us not having a sporting director.Has Konate earned a contract ?Is it wise to pay him another year salary and signing on fee just to sell him ?Will there be suitors ?

@ScouseRepublic The issue here is more about leaving for a free, we’ve not learnt our lesson after last summer. So many players over the last 3 years have left for free. Here is another potential £30m gone.

As bad as it looks from a business point of view, what are we meant to do as a club here? The fella is on par with Sakho, does more bad than good, offers shambolic defending more often than not and wants 250k a week. Within our rights to say no to his demands and rightly so.

Lamine Camara is a technical dynamic CM, we already have that with Szobo and it would be a redundant signing.
Ideal midfield a Wharton-Szobo-Wirtz and in physical matches or to close matches a Wharton-Sangaré-Szobo.

@KopKaruthu_lfc @nas1rs Our lack of defensive protection since we lost Fabinho and missed out on Tchoumeni, Caicedo and Zubimendi , it has been really showing. Gravenbach did ok for 6 mths then slowly was found out. I'm worried this goes on, we will look at wins like 3-2, 4-3, 5-4.

@ThevindraRAJ @nas1rs Yeah if you have a Kamara or Sangare we have no phase 1 buildup, that’s the biggest problem now. That requires the first fix.

@KopKaruthu_lfc @nas1rs If Wharton and Wirtz play, the 3rd midfield to do the work will be Szobo. Aren't we not misusing him ?Lots of comprises everywhere for Wharton when a Sangare/Kamara/Fernandes releases the best of Szobo (as 8) and Wirtz as 10/2nd striker.Don't want Wirtz and Szobo on the wide too.

@nas1rs Can’t say we have a Rodri, but IP issues will definitely improve. Many instances this season we’ve chosen the wrong pass which led to counters against us when we’ve split wide to have better IP.
Wharton improves decision making IP but that 3rd midfielder should do heavy lifting

@KopKaruthu_lfc I'm not sold with him because we need a fabinho/Kante type player beside Szobo and behind Wirtz. Another Wharton, doesn't help the defence and we are vulnerable.

Lots of people in the fanbase aren’t sure if Wharton is the answer to our problems because he’s not quick and dynamic without the ball.
The aspect we forget is “WE HAVE THE BALL MOST OF THE TIME NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO” - Wharton solves that.

@KopKaruthu_lfc We have an unbalanced team. It does not need an overhaul but just short of 2-4 first team players and quality depth on top of the players we have. I trust with the right "system" we will get it right with or without Slot. Whatever FSG decides, we have no choice but to face it.
