If JD Vance fails to become a viable presidential candidate, the responsibility rests primarily with him and with Tucker Carlson. Carlson (who birthed Vance’s presidential potential) has positioned himself as an open adversary of the current administration (that JD serves) and has declared he will not support Republicans in the midterms, a stance that is fragmenting the GOP and aiding Democratic gains. Critics pointing out this abhorrent behavior are not the problem.
